Efoyta Edir was established on January 1, 2019, in Silver Spring, Maryland, and obtained nonprofit status in 2023.  The association's primary goal is to assist members with funeral expenses and, when possible, provide grief support to bereaved families. Future initiatives include organizing community social and sports events to raise funds and support its financial stability.  

Are you passionate about giving back to your community? Join us as a volunteer and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. We offer a variety of opportunities to get involved, from helping with events to providing direct service.
